I'm wondering whether a part time job or unemployment is going to be what gets us through the winter.
I'm exhausted from working all morning every day, then coming home and working more to unpack, organize, etc.
I'm mentally exhausted from all the shit thats been going on the past few months.
But dammit, I am excited, and happy to the core over Obama winning tonight. I can feel, deep down, that this is a very, very good thing. The perception of our country by the world has changed and he hasn't even done anything yet. The fact that we didn't put some special interest supported, gray haired, old white fogey in office has sent a message to the rest of the leaders on this planet that yes, we are ready to move forward.
And now to sleep.

So I'm listening to the radio on the way to the job today. They were fielding calls regarding the upcoming election.
One caller actually caught the DJ's off guard.
DJ: Hello caller, so who will you be voting for?
Caller: McCain of course.
DJ: Oh really? What made you choose McCain?
Caller: Osama is a Muslim. I don't want no President with secret camps training people to be kamakazies and blow up our cities.
DJ: ..... wow.
Gotta love them edjumacated Americans making us look good eh? Personally, I think Barrack will do a world of good for us. Who better to LESSEN Muslim hatred of our country then a black man with Muslim parents who himself is a Christian. The Muslims will see him as one of their own, even though he's really not, and he will present a new face for our country instead of the typical 'White Low IQ Bigot' the world is used to, and maybe we can move forward.
Assuming no neo-nazi organizations succeed in picking him off, I am interested to see what he will do for this country. With a Majority Democrat House and Senate....and now a somewhat conservative Demo looking at the white house, we could really be in for a good 4-8 years.

So my dad takes me to Papa Murphys to get pizza for me and Meg for dinner.
I must preface this with a short description of my father....self made construction business owner, generous randomly, has (in my opinion) alot of money, but he's kind of naive sometimes with social interaction that isn't with fellow construction guys...
WELL. He was being nice to the middle aged minimum wage cracky looking mid 30s lady making our pizza. He even gave her a tip. Well it appears his, I like to believe it to be genetic, charm paid off. As we were leaving she goes "Do you date?". Now me? I heard it. I expected it after when he gave her to tip she was like "Omg I really needed that". He didn't hear her though so he was like "What??". The embarassment was too much for me at this point so I moved quickly out the door. He responded with something about being married, idk exactly cause I was booking it out of there. This shit was funny. And not south park funny, no no...this was something strait out of family guy. I was rolling all the way back to my house.
In other news, I got popped for doing 26 in a 35 which during school is a 20. A speeding ticket for doing 26 mph? Fuck you man, just fuck you. Oh and the irony, I was on my WAY to fight another ticket. Now instead of having NO tickets on my record I could have 2 (gonna fight this one too).

List of the most difficult events the past 5 years.
5) Going to a job interview for Earthlink, the interviewer happening to be a towering african american that I swear to god must have been a LINEBACKER on the weekends.
4) Getting canned from my favorite job at Jamco, which was totally unexpected.
3) Submitting Megans main immigration packet and waiting for its approval.
2) Grandfathers funeral.
And the most difficult thing I've had to do in the past 5 years, nay, the first thing to make me cry in MANY years...
1) Bringing Sushi to the animal shelter because we already have 3 cats and we rent, not own our house.

Dear Congressmen,
I realize that you don't have all of your finances tied up in me as you do the failing bank companies that you're lying and using fear tactics to save by pushing your 'bailout plan' through, but I figured this was worth a shot.
I have accumulated an annoying amount of credit debt, and 3 remaining years on an auto loan. Nothing major, but it could lead to an economic downturn at my household if anything were to happen jobwise. I figured, if you're giving these companies who paid their CEO's up in the 100's of millions for a year or two's work 700 billion to 'save' them, you could spare a measly 10,000 or so in my direction.
Thank you. I will be awaiting my check in the mail, and as it only took you like 3 days to pass your personal interest ridden/biased plan for those companies, this should only take a few minutes.

I would say 'no offense' in case anyone reading this fits the profile...but that would go against my nature of a) despising the particular profile and b) not giving a shit what other people think. :)
To all bible-thumping, bigoted, racist, right wing, republican conservatives, I say to you, die in a fire. This is not targeted at people who are simply bible thumpers, or conservatives, but the collection of all those things. You know what I'm saying? What I think is really funny is that, with the way the entire WORLD is going in general, the pure ideals of 'conservat-ism' is withering away. All that will be left is the morals, and good will towards all...
Moving on to the reason for my post. After 8 years or HELL, for our economy, our people, and the view of America by the rest of teh world, how the FUCK can the current presidential race be 'close'? I'll tell you how...low IQ's, Conservative Fantacism, and people who vote by party no matter whats going on.
Allow me to post some maps to make it easy to absorb my point.
Here is a up to date map of the current presidential race. In short, blue is Obama, Red is Mccain.
Now...to delve into why this pisses me the fuck off. Here, is a map of the average IQ's of each state.
Interesting eh? Okay...lets move on. Below, is a map of the 2004 voting, this time broken down by county....again...you'll notice the populated areas, where free thought is rampant and religion is not, voted Democrat (Blue). Even in states such as Texas and the south.
In short, if we have repeat of the 2004 rigged fuck off of an election and Mccain 'somehow' wins, I'm moving to Canada.

I know it's been a while, I kind of took a LONG hiatus from my 'online life'. As such many of you might not even be reading/posting in your LJ's, and i might even be deleted from your lists. But that's to be expected.
I need to complain.
My dad got burgled. And as much of what got burgled was to be MINE, in essence, I got burgled as well. Most disheartening would be the 40k in savings bonds and large collection of antique and awesome guns. And these pig F%ckers TRASHED the place as well, and such a nice house he has :(
And i'm sorry if this offends the 'forgiving' and possibly religious lot, but i wish with all my heart that these soul-less, many of them drug habit/use supporting, @$$holes would just DIE. I dont care if they have kids, i dont care if they have familys, i just dont CARE, because they obviously don't care. And i'm not talking slow and painless. If i ever catch someone like that in my house, it is going to be SLOW and drawn out.

I hate you. I fucking hate you, fiery passion of a thousand suns and all that. You and your friend asphalt can suck my balls. I would offer up my ass for you to kiss but you already did that, along with shredding my fingers, palms, knee, and phone.
I will be hating winter for at least 5 more hours...or until the pain subsides, whichever comes first.
PS - I need shoes with studs in the soles.
PPS (for WoW players only) - I got the expansion for warcraft last night, don't expect to see 'hide nor hair' of me for a while. If any of you play, chances are you're a fucking alliance palidin. According to wow census so are 1 in 3 players. LOSERFACES ALL OF YOU! I swear to god, everyone in line to get the game was alliance, and all of the annoying loud ones were pallys (go figure). Well I just have one thing to say to you, all the bubbling in the world won't prevent you from being death coiled and two shotted by a shadowbolt + shadowburn dealt out by a certain lock we'll call me, when dealt with aroung 600+ spelldamage and the ZG trinket on top of it. I freakin 1 shot a 60 ne hunter the other day, that gave me a happy moment. I Can't wait to see what kind of gear we're gonna get, stupid job keeping me from playing!

It has been far too long since we last saw each other. You see, I believe you are an individual spawned of evil and bad things. I wholeheartedly believe you enjoy inflicting pain. Well, the end result is what matters, so I’m sucking it up and coming to see you next week. Wednesday to be exact. Be prepared for battle mr. dentist, be prepared.
Also, I got Megan a Yamaha FG720S for her birthday. I chose the exquisitely beautiful Dark Sun Red color. I’m at work and can’t be bothered finding a link lest I overuse the net and draw attention to myself. A simple google image search should yield a good pic or two.

I have been absent of late, my apologies. As of October 9th, 2006 I was unemployed. Over the course of 2 years, I received 3 raises, a promotion, and was the main trainer for temps. I was also the only full time person in the department for whom English was my primary spoken language. I had no written or verbal reprimands, yet my boss said the reason was because it wasn’t a ‘good fit’. The fact that my boss offered me a good reference leads me to believe it was his boss who initiated the whole thing…his boss happens to be the V.P. of finance, and I’m pretty sure the two temps I’d trained to do the same job I was doing, the same job we all were doing, probably got paid 2/3 what I did. To everyone except my direct supervisor, who’s offer of good reference and my overall liking of the man saves him from my wrath, I say fuck you. Emphasis on fuck. Fortunately, since I didn’t break any codes of conduct or have any GOOD reason for getting canned, I was able to claim and subsequently receive unemployment. Even more fortuitous was the fact that during the time period that our grand government looks at to gauge how much I’d get each week, I was working my ASS off and had lots of overtime. At the time of my canning, I was not working much overtime (which I have a feeling was part of the reason why, if not most of it…I had better things to do, like see my WIFE, cockfuckers) so in reality, I was making almost as much sitting on my ass as I was working at that time..literally. {insert giggly smiley face here}. No wonder all these white trash hillbillys try to get on UI. Did I mention that I had a scheduled surgery 3 days after the canning? Which they KNEW about, yet another reason I’m so pissed. As you may or may not know, you have to be able to work to claim benefits, and as I was barely able to function, I had to claim and know inside that no matter how much pain I was in I would have to go in for any interviews or even work. The reason I disappeared here was that I’ve spent the last few months recovering from surgery, being all mopey/emo/depressed, looking for jobs, and playing warcraft on <i>occasion</i>. In better news, I have a new job. I work for a rather nice company…you may have heard of them, Premera Blue Cross :) They’re pretty much EVERYWHERE in the U.S., in fact, if all the little subsidy’s spread out across the land were all filed under one name (they’re actually all separate, run under the ‘umbrella’ that is Premera Blue Cross/Blue Shield) it would be one of the largest companies in the U.S. The benefits here, for lack of a better term, are Free. Health, dental, vision…all that good stuff. The pay is what I started at at my last job. I was hoping to make what I left that job at, but my minimum wage acceptance went down a dollar or so per month that I didn’t have a job. The good thing is, I’m no longer a grunt. No longer a CSR/Phone bitch…I have officially moved up the chain! I pretty much deal with the companies themselves, take care of some individual issues, make sure all of the ducks are in a row for their people…and my boss is awesome. I’ll probably start replying to your posts now that I’m not all depressed and withdrawn into myself, and I may actually call Tina back now, heh.

First item of business. Mr. Xeth has been with us for approximately 1 week. He is clean, able to occupy himself while i'm at work, and doesn't leave any messes on the floor. So far my 'showing him stuff' has been limited to Seattle and a day-trip into the mountains. I guess thats not too bad considering its been only one week, but I'll have you know he brought with him some deadly Scottish cow flu and infected our household, otherwise i'd have shown him MORE.
Now, onto other pressing matters. I don't think i've posted since I actually came into possession and performed upgrades to our new computer. What I ended up doing was....taking the new one for myself, and reformatting/upgrading the old one and setting it up for Megan.
What I didnt tell you in regards to my new computer is that the base, the system itself is an eMachine. Don't start yelling at me just yet! I too at first was apprehensive, but I did some searching, and the damn thing has an ATi chipset, 4 sata ports in addition to two IDE ports, a PCI-E x16 slot, and the sticker price of $348 included everything but the monitor...windows...a 3.2ghz processor..everything! I added some ram, a video card, and an additional hard drive for dirt cheap, bringing system cost to about $650 TOTAL.
You go out there and build a system for $650 that will play Oblivion on moderate settings and every other game, including Prey, Fear, and Far Cry on the HIGHEST settings in 1650x1080 widescreen mode and then we can talk. The only thing its lacking is overclocking/adjustability in the motherboard bios.
You all don't have a freakin clue what i'm talking about do you? Dammit. I need more dork friends.

I just bought/built the misses a computer. The specs are as follows:
Intel Celeron D 3.2Ghz
Nice motherboard w/ Radeon X200 chipset and a PCi-E x16 slot
1.5gb of PC4200 ram
X1600Pro ATi Video Card 512mb
And the less impressive…
80gb hd (boohiss, adding more later, probably a 320gb sata drive for >$99 off newegg.com)
DVD-Rom/CD-RW (Putting a high speed burner in too w/ lightscribe)
In short, if you know anything of computers the above should put you into a gaming saliva-dripping dementia. Ok, maybe its not the SLi setup with dual nVidia 7900GTX’s that I have wet dreams about, but its DAMN GOOD. The video card and one of the ram sticks are arriving today, the 20.1” Widescreen monitor arrives tomorrow.
Do not mistake this as a bragging post, or a ‘I can afford this epic stuff’ post…in fact, the whole shebang only set me back $590 ($870 including monitor). That may sound too cheap to be true, but I assure you…with the ‘internet’ and no-tax/low-overhead merchants, anything is possible. I expect to be able to play WoW on the highest settings with a freakish framerate, and other games such as Fear and Far Cry should cower before my mighty video card (or so say the reviews of it). Did I say my video card? Uh oh.
Edit: I forgot about the $30 I spent on a wireless card. Yes, this bad boy can be anywhere in the apartment with full signal strength. Woot!

She is now bound for her grandparents house. There I shall rendevous with her and her parents and transfer her lifes wealth of belongings from their 'mini-van' to my leet transport vehicle (old toyota 4x4).
I will then proceed to have her follow me down...and once she crosses the border w/ her one-time entry visa she's MINE! MWUHAHAHAHAHHA.
I liken her soon-to-be predicament to a type of slavery. One which will greatly benefit me in the ways of food and kissy-kissy. I cannot say the possibilities of this future give me the slightest pause. That and I'll have..... you know...someone to love forever and all that jazz. (i'm actually really excited)
I actually just got back from Texas. I would have visited ash but I think she still hates me. I also could have visited Mikey from RMI but he's a doob. DAMMIT TO HELL I SHOULD HAVE HIT UP RY! Fuck. OH WELL. Anyways, went there on business, got paid to fly, drive and eat....my favorite things to do. HOW GREAT IS THAT?! I get 20 hours of overtime doing things I enjoy xD Went to Fort Worth, Dallas, and up to Tulsa Oklahoma...in case you are unaware, Texas is hot. Its not 'oh my its warm out' hot. No. It is more like god has a fucking hair dryer on you on HIGH HEAT hot. YES, the WIND is searing. I have ventured to hell and come out alive. Would I do it again? Only for the food.
PS - With my bday/overtime money I am probably going to buy a computer. And by buy I mean go to www.zipzoomfly.com and take my premade shopping cart of all seperate parts and order it, wait for it to arrive in a few days free of tax and shipping costs because they rock, and assemble it immediately. Someone got me hooked on the Animal Channel.
They play only animal related shows 24/7, everything from Hippo's vs Croc's, to Animal Cops. They have the austrailian guy, an even crazier US whiteboy, and everything in between.
Well, I've seen more snakes and spiders in the past month than I ever thought possible via this show (and my apt., theres a literal protected Wetland in my back yard...seriously...like 10 feet from my porch...so many spiders...I dont know how they get in). I recently remembered my childhood, and snakes. So many snakes...I used to pick them up and carry them to the bus-stop. I also brought a few in the house...they did not care for my lunch tidbits that I wished them to share with me. My mother also did not care for them as I did.
What the fuck was I thinking???? In my HANDS...my fucking POCKETS for christs sake...Seriously! People need to tell their kids not to touch shit like that! Man...I get shivers now just thinking about it -.-

1) Megan sent the checklist over last week to the consulate saying "Hey..bitch, we're done with your paperwork." to which they replied "Get your ass in here July 11th for an interview." So, maybe those exact words were not spoken, but you get the gist. That's 4 months after original paperwork sent out..........that's DAMN good. For fucks sake, it takes people YEARS sometimes. Granted, don't count your pot till it's across the border, we still have the interview, but I don't see how they could deny her. I make over 2x the 125% of poverty line requirement, she doesn't have AID's or cancer...we're good.
2) When you're gone for almost a week your food goes bad. EW.
3) I am not a chicken, dammit, I was just dealing with things. Bad timing. So Andi can stfu and heart me.
4) LFG Global chat is GAY. GAY GAY GAY. The foundations of such an idea are very logical, but the reality is a whole different animal.
5) This goes with (1) but I forgot it. We're looking at August 11th for D-Day...getting married, whatever you care to refer to it as. I also have to start saving up for one of these:

Oil companies here (and abroad I'm sure) are defending their insane profits by 'urging' consumers to conserve and pretty much buy gas sipping cars.
I'll lay this out in laymans terms, so READ ME!
Oil jacks up prices. We are told to conserve and drive more fuel efficient cars.............we do so, gas prices get jacked up more. In essence, all we're doing is allowing the Oil Companys to provide us with LESS product, while making the SAME amount of money, or even more money. There is no shortage...do you know how I know this? If overnight, half of us started driving Geo Metros and oil consumption dropped by 1/3, prices would SKYROCKET. How is that? I thought there was a supply shortage. Granted that is a theory, but I think anyone knowledgeable would agree with it...
